BAC Ride to Vaitarna Dam

Hello Dear readers,

Vaitarna lake where we intend to go :)

We are back to update you on whats coming up. Feeling excited about the next trip to Vaitarna dam. The longest ever trip as a group after its formation & the biggest ever lane formation to be witnessed since. This will be the first time we as a group will be travelling the Nasik route.

All set to go as we decided at the meeting held on 22nd March, the first point of meeting is the junction at Kalyan-Bhiwandi bypass where the fellow bikers will meet. Hailing from different parts of Mumbai, Thane & Navi Mumbai, there is one thing these bikers are excited about, the feeling of joy and oneness we share when we all come together. As discussed in the previous meeting, there are 2 most important rules to follow.

1. Do not be late for the ride - Its better to be disciplined at the start of the ride as that sets an expectation which every rider in the group has to live up to.
2. Safety gear - Please be handy with your safety gear (Helmets, gloves, jackets & riding shoes)

No bandanas, helmets only (its a no brainer :)

The enthusiasm among the fellow riders is commendable. Excitement has reached an all time high. The efforts the fellow riders are putting in, to stand out from the rest is much evident. Now that gives us a hint about the dedication and craze these riders have in common when it comes to their bikes. A lot of them have beautified their machine by fitting accessories like LEDs and HIDs. This ride unlike the previous group rides have seen attempts by many riders to take their cruisers a level above. Many have enhanced the beauty of their bikes by adding projectors lamps, fog lights and windshields.

We can say all about what we are taking with us, but its only a matter of time before we reveal what we bring back as we return. It sure will be an amazing get together. A massive display of sheer discipline and an experience that will be unforgettable. This journey however short it be, will certainly leave us all yearning for more. Thanks to this togetherness which will push each and every one of us riders to  look forward for such meaningful group journey. This journey will be the one where each one discovers the bond he has with his so called machine. The ride as we call it, will be the ride for a lifetime.

The route

So as decided earlier the meet will happen at the crossing of Kalyan-Bhiwandi and Thane - Nashik road. From there we lead to the Igatpuri Marg. A couple of hours later comes the first point of Halt - the Aman dhaba. Where the riders will have light snacks and move towards the destination. The next quick stop will be at the foot of Kasara ghat which is just where the twists and turns begin. Carrying the eatables from there to relish at the Dam, we now move towards the dam. Dam - the final stop that we are all waiting for so eagerly. Riders have been advised to carry an extra pair of clothes in case they are bound to find it irresistible .

We can't wait to share with you the joy and fun awaiting us at the Dam. I know you can feel what I am talking about. And if you are a proud owner of an avenger don't be left behind. It will indeed be a pleasure to welcome you. Don't be disappointed if you miss this ride. There are many more rides to come. Such rides are at the core of this group's ever increasing agendas. Increasing members - Brotherhood on the roll!

Hey people,

Like any other riding club, BAC had its humble beginnings. We started out with a total of 10 dedicated bikers not too many months back. Today BAC stands tall with an increased membership count of 30 dedicated riders! Statistically speaking that's 300% increase in headcount in the last 2 months!
As awesome as it sounds, BAC was also true to its brotherhood quotient by successfully arranging 3 meetups, 2 main rides and 1 mini ride. All this in the span on 2 months. We are as amazed and happy as you are.

This would not have been possible without a common feeling we all share for each other. This feeling is called RESPECT - for each other, for the ride, and lastly for ourselves. This approach doesn't only put us at a periphery of looking back at good times, but also encouragement to plan even better rides & cheerful moments.

We congratulate every member who liked our page on FB, joined our whatsapp group and read this blog for bringing the club this far and promising it to grow by leaps and bounds.

Thank you for proving "Its never the ride, its the riders."

Keeping the BAC spirit alive, do not forget to follow this blog and stay updated on BAC.

Cheers,

BAC
